Paul, inspired by his father's clockmaking, started crafting some of his own a couple years ago.  As usual, I had to check it out, too.  So far, we've used spalted maple, local cedar, old growth cedar, and are looking for other woods to experiment with.  We use rechargeable battery powered quartz movements.
